Atticus Pet Design Studio 1 Year Anniversary + Goals

This month marks the one year anniversary of Atticus Pet Design Studio! I’ve learned alot in the past year of running a business; from marketing, getting clients, and finances that have all contributed immensely to my managing a design studio.

I’m really excited for what’s in store for us and have complied a list of some goals I have in going forward:

pet websites

Blog Atleast Once a Week: I haven’t been actively blogging as busy as I’ve been. I need to schedule in someĀ  time to keep you all update on what’s going on behind the scenes, post some inspiration I come across, as well as projects once their complete. I’ve been doing the later, but should focus on more areas to bring this blog to the next level and keep you all engaged.

Take an App Development Course: I wanted to do this for awhile to expand our list of services. I want to learn the process and add an app to our portfolio to increase our versatility.

Network With Local Pet-Friendly Businesses: I’ve been meaning to network with nearby Humane Societies to increase my range of contacts and get my work out there on a local level.

Save up to Attend a Professional Convention: I’d love to attend the Creative Freelancer Conference by How Design to expand my education and grow as a designer + business owner. Another incentive to get out of the office and go on a “vacation.”

Develop Press Kit for The Pet Anthology: Since launching my pet lifestyle blog in March of this year I’ve gotten alot of positive feedback from visitors in addition requests for design projects, which has encouraged me to keep at it.

I would like to thank all of pet businesses that made my first year in business a good one! I look forward to keeping in touch with you all to see the results of my branding and design efforts. Stay tuned.
